I'm researching a set of games for the new Artefact Cards.
The idea is that rarther than an instruction booklet to kick things off, each pack of the new cards has one game in them.
The things I'm using as kick-off points are:
i) the cultural reserach pieces I refer to often which talk about ideas and practices that are cut from the same cloth as the cards, behaviourally speaking
ii) the giant stack of user quaotes I have collected over the last year and a half, from early alpha stage.
As I was researching the cultural things a little more, I came across this little film of William S Burroughs describing where the great quote "when you cut into the present, the future leaks out".
